I’ll draw on some deeds of kindness that were held up in a couple of memorial services I’ve recently attended as an antidote for some of the troubling times we experience in the Thanksgiving season—and of the hope and gratitude I see in such deeds. I’ll also cite the original Presidential Thanksgiving Proclamation, as offered by George Washington, to help frame up my thoughts. Join us as we welcome Rev. Steve Edington to our church!
