On the last day of November, this service (titled “…and they were sore afraid“)  will begin the transition from autumn to winter. Overcoming a fear of the dark is a rite of passage for many children. Perhaps we need to rely on those time-tested strategies as adults living through increasingly dark (and fearful) times as we seek to make our way through the darkest season of the year.
