Loving, Leaving, Leafless

Tom Putnam writes: Quoting the poet, Rilke, each spring we celebrate “the winter that has just gone by.” And yet, since we are mortal we know we will experience one season that will be “endlessly winter” in which we will not taste the spring. As many of you know, my mother passed away in March. Since I won’t be with you on Mother’s Day, this service titled, Loving leaving leafless, will offer poems and reflections about parenting, love, and loss.
